Good morning!
I make the most of today to update my website. I’m always travelling or working but I prefer to do it by myself and keep my website as a Blog. It may look less pro or cool than the usual photography websites, but I like to interact with you, to answer your questions and understand what you like or dislike. Feel always free to comment: criticism is so valued for my job.
So, two days ago I went to Valentina’s house near my hometown. She’s a friend of mine, almost 8 months pregnant with a girl that she will name Bianca ( ” White” in italian). It was both a pleasure and an honour to shoot this; it’s not the first time that I photograph pregnant women, I had expectant brides too. But it was my first specific maternity photo shoot. I couldn’ t wish for a better situation!
At first, people who are not used to DSLRs are intimidated by them… it’s up to you to make them feel comfortable and do not alter their personality in front of your camera. So, when shooting a mum-to-be, consideration comes first: do not stress her with stupid poses who may look special for your portfolio but can be unfitting for the person. I think that the first feature of a good photographer is being able to respect the others. Remember that it’s important to show the right tact when dealing with the people you are going to photograph.
So, here are the pics. I hope you like them. Valentina is a beautiful and elegant woman, so it wasn’t that hard to make her look so pretty 🙂
